Pat Elliott was born in Lansing, Michigan where her beloved father was the superintendent of Public Instruction in the State of Michigan for many years. Writing stories was an early passion and has continued to be so over the years-usually pushed to one side by other interests and imperatives: marriage and a spell of farming in Ohio, a masters degree in genetics, seven children, a medical and a general medical practice that continues, and the establishment of a sheep dairy that makes much sought after sheep milk cheese. With competent assistance in the farm, creamery, marketing, and medical office, she now has some time to share her writings.
